Made for the Austin Air Immunity Machine. Austin says it also fits its other standard-size purifiers, such as the HealthMate, HealthMate Plus and Bedroom Machine. Match the prefilter to your purifier: white for a White or Sandstone unit, black for a Graphite, Black or Midnight Blue unit.

Which Austin Air purifiers does the FR444 fit?

The FR444 is the replacement filter for the Austin Air Immunity Machine. Austin Air also offers it as an upgrade for standard-size Austin Air purifiers, so you can move a HealthMate, HealthMate Plus or Bedroom Machine to the 8-phase filter.

What's inside the 8-phase FR444 filter?

It combines medical-grade HEPA, activated carbon, potassium iodide-impregnated carbon, mineral-based media and a HEGA carbon cloth. It's Austin Air's most complete filter for particles, chemicals and gases.

Which prefilter color do I need?

Match the prefilter to your purifier’s color. The white prefilter is for White and Sandstone units, and the black prefilter is for Black, Midnight Blue and Graphite units. The filter inside is the same either way.

How often should I replace an Austin Air filter?

Austin Air designs its main filters to last up to five years under normal home use. The Austin “it” VOC carbon wrap is the exception, at about three months.

Can I use my FSA or HSA?

Yes. Austin Air purifiers and replacement filters are FSA/HSA eligible. Depending on your plan, you can pay with your FSA or HSA card at checkout, or pay another way and submit your receipt for reimbursement. Some plans ask for a letter of medical necessity, so check with your plan administrator if you’re not sure.
