Miele Guard M1 Terra Red Bagged Canister Vacuum

For Bare Floors Only

A Miele for Your Hard Floors

The Miele Guard M1 Terra Red is a bagged canister vacuum we recommend for hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl floors.

It's a great choice if you want a quality vacuum with adjustable suction, convenient onboard tools, and no messy dust cup to empty.

One of our favorite things about this particular model is that it comes with a five-year Miele warranty, which is longer than the coverage included with many other Miele models.

Have low-pile area rugs, too? Take a look at the Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog. It comes with a turbo brush for your rugs and a separate floorhead for your bare floors.

A 5-Year Miele Warranty

Not every Miele vacuum comes with five years of coverage. The Guard M1 Terra Red does, and you don't have to purchase a separate protection plan to get it.

When purchased from an authorized Miele dealer like Geek Vacuums, this model includes a five-year limited manufacturer's warranty for residential use, covering parts and labor for covered defects under Miele's warranty terms.

That's two additional years of coverage compared with the standard three-year Guard M1/L1 warranty.

The Little Things That Make Cleaning Easier

Adjust the suction to what you're cleaning. You can turn the suction up or down with the touch of a button, whether you're cleaning floors, furniture, or using one of the smaller attachments.

More reach, fewer outlet changes. The 24-foot cord gives you a total cleaning reach of 36 feet with the hose and wand. And when you're finished, just press the button to rewind the cord.

Your attachments stay with the vacuum. The dusting brush, crevice tool, and upholstery tool are stored inside the vacuum, so they're easy to find when you need them.

Adjust the wand to your height. The telescopic wand extends or shortens, making it easier to find a comfortable position while cleaning.

No Dust Cup to Empty

The Guard M1 uses Miele CO vacuum bags, so there's no dust cup to dump into the trash. When the bag is full, just replace it with a fresh one. The bag closes automatically when you remove it, helping keep the dirt and dust contained.

The bag and filters work together to trap the dust you pick up. This model comes with an AirClean filter, not a HEPA filter. A Miele HEPA AirClean filter is available separately if you'd like to upgrade.

Another nice convenience: every four-pack of Miele CO bags includes a replacement AirClean filter.

Optional Upgrade: Miele Parquet Twister

For even easier cleaning on hard floors, consider adding the Miele Parquet Twister. Its flexible swivel neck makes it easy to maneuver around furniture legs, along edges, and into tight spaces. The soft bristles are also gentle on hardwood and other delicate flooring.

The Parquet Twister is sold separately.
