Which machines the Austin “it” Filter fits

Fits the Austin Air “it” personal air purifier. The HEPA filter is designed to last up to five years. If you use the VOC Carbon Wrap, replace the wrap about every three months; it’s also sold on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Austin “it” Filter

Which version of the “it” filter do I need?

Choose FR100B for the HEPA filter with a pre-filter, or F100CR for the HEPA filter with a VOC carbon wrap if you want help with odors and chemicals.

How long does the “it” filter last?

The HEPA filter is designed to last up to five years. The VOC carbon wrap is replaced about every three months, and you can buy wraps on their own.

Which prefilter color do I need?

Match the prefilter to your purifier’s color. The white prefilter is for White and Sandstone units, and the black prefilter is for Black, Midnight Blue and Graphite units. The filter inside is the same either way.

How often should I replace an Austin Air filter?

Austin Air designs its main filters to last up to five years under normal home use. The Austin “it” VOC carbon wrap is the exception, at about three months.

Can I use my FSA or HSA?

Yes. Austin Air purifiers and replacement filters are FSA/HSA eligible. Depending on your plan, you can pay with your FSA or HSA card at checkout, or pay another way and submit your receipt for reimbursement. Some plans ask for a letter of medical necessity, so check with your plan administrator if you’re not sure.
